Volunteers make the park possible. Everything from the gardens to the concerts and beyond is volunteer run and organized. Without you, we wouldn't exist!
This summer has been action-packed with a full schedule of concerts, events, and work parties. At the same time, we've lost some key volunteers to illness and relocation. We're short handed and looking for some new team members to support the park and our projects in a number of ways.
Board Member - love the park? Join the board of trustees! We have a several positions open on the board and need people who will bring energy and ideas to our team. Being a board member offers a unique opportunity to support the park, shape its future, and connect with community members.
Events Coordinator - help organize special events and activities in the Park. Planning starts in the winter for next year, but there are things to do all year round.
Social Media Coordinator - help us communicate with our community on social media platforms, through the newsletter, and other outreach.
Stage Crew - help set up and break down sound and lighting equipment for shows, or learn to run live sound during concerts. Previous sound board experience or live sound experience is a plus but not a requirement!
Garden Work Party - join us in the park every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for our weekly volunteer work party! While tasks vary with the seasons this is a great way to support the park and learn new skills by helping with: weeding, planting, restocking the little free library, and more! Light refreshments, tools, and coffee will always be provided but please check the weather before you come. We recommend wearing close-toed shoes, sun protection, and carrying a water bottle.
Looking to complete a Scout project, community service, or volunteer hours for school? Want to contribute in some way we haven't listed? We'd love to work with you!
