The Fungus Among Us

Have you noticed that this is the season for mushrooms? They are everywhere right now, in a dizzying mix of sizes, colors, and shapes. These amazing fungi play an important role in every ecosystem in part because of their vast underground mycelium network, which connects one fruiting body (the part we see, eat, and admire) to others and even to different types of plants.

Connection helps many things to thrive. Here at the park we are focused on creating more connections with our neighbors and community during these challenging Covid times. To help with that, we're relaunching our email newsletter and we would love to add you to our list. Stay connected! You can subscribe using the Newsletter tab on our FB page, or the subscription form on our website.
