Dennis and Alicia submitted the application today for West Central Park’s Seasonal Events Layout. This layout is intended to provide us with a method for raising community awareness and funds for the park. The 2013 plan includes a temporary parking area on site that includes food cart parking, a graded and finely graveled 60′ by 80′ events area, and a 20′ green buffer of trees and plantings, between the traffic corner and the event space. When the WCP gets fully funded, the park plan will allow pedestrian access only, and will have no allowance for parking. We should hear back from city hall in a day or so, regarding our permit.
