The West Central Park had another fantastic Work Party on an exceptionally sunny Father’s Day Sunday. We filled in holes, planted new grass, and started clearing a pathway from the parking area to events space.
We pasted a decoupage onto the park signs and started painting up some new ones for the June Jubilee.
Last, but certainly not least, we started work on painting the inaugural mural.
To top it all off, Vante’s Inferno Food Truck was there with Vante’s amazing spicy french fries. Vante’s Inferno will be one of the vendors at the June Jubilee and serves up some of the best burgers and fries (among other delicious treats) in Olympia. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying their incredible food, you’ve been missing out and now have yet another reason to come out to West Central Park on June 29 for our first June Jubilee.
The park has really undergone some dramatic changes this past week with plenty more to come ahead of the June Jubilee. Be sure to check out our Volunteer and Donation pages to help out with this amazing project.
