Board Meetings and Work Parties

The Board of Trustees of the West Central Park Project met last night to work out more Park Policies.  Among those adopted were an anti-discrimination measure and policies on land management.

Seth Chance, Daniel Cherniske, Dennis Lyon, and Tucker Petertil were appointed to the Landscaping Committee, the body that will plan and oversee development of the Park lands.  Souki Mehdaoui, Daniel Cherniske, and Bernie Flowers were appointed to Events Management positions and will be overseeing all events put on at the Park by third parties.

Another reminder: there will be a work party this Sunday at 10 AM at the Park.  We will be working on a few new projects in addition to continuing work on the mural.  If you’re unable to attend but would still like to help out in the future, sign up at our Volunteer page.

Reprinted below is a log of all the actions taken by the Board of Trustees at our last meeting and text of the policies as adopted by the Board.
